Tasked with delivering exclusive design for the Triennale Design Museum, the Milan based designer Alessandra Baldereschi shifts away from standard furnishing, focusing on accessories and drawing inspiration from the animal brooches by Trifari. At the turn of the 20th century, the latter brand ranked among the first costume jewelery makers to produce designs featuring inexpensive alternatives to precious metals, delivering unconventional designs and subjects. the "Trick of the Tail", collection of three animals, are differentiated via the graphic style of their tails and three alternative materials. One for each species: brass for squirrels, steel for cats and copper for foxes.
