It looks as if it is embroidered by virtuous artisans, the silver-plated chopping board with dragonfly motifs, ideal for bread, perfect for giving a decorative accent to the everyday table. With this design, Alessandra Baldereschi offers a further taste of her fairy-tale nature. The weaving of table baskets is resolved in a stylised flight of dragonflies that introduce a rural element to the panorama of domestic ornaments. The naturalistic motif, thanks to the naivety of its features, supersedes the reference to traditional patterns to enter contemporary iconography with delicate irony.
